At Bloom Illusions, I make the process simple, clear, and fun—from keepsake bouquets you’ll treasure forever to full venue styling with hireable floral sets and décor. I create stunning florals for couples that perfectly match their vision, are perfect all day, are luxe yet cost effective and full of that WOW factor!
If you’re wondering where to start, here’s your step-by-step guide to booking with me and creating the florals you’ve been dreaming of.
Step 1: Enquire About Your Date
Fill out the enquiry form, email or DM me with your wedding date, venue, and the type of florals you’re considering. This lets me check availability straight away, so you’re not left wondering!
Step 2: Decide on Your Personal Florals
Your bouquet, your partner’s buttonhole, and any bridal party pieces are custom-made keepsakes, and can be shipped Australia wide!
These are designed to last long after your big day and become heirlooms you can keep forever. I’ll chat with you about your colour palette and floral style so we can bring your vision to life, and will request any inspiration pictures you have so I can clearly see your vibe!
Step 3: Explore Hire Options for Your Day
(available for Scenic Rim, Brisbane, Gold Coast and Ipswich areas)
Beyond your bouquet, most couples love adding hired florals and styling items to elevate their venue. You can choose from:
Hireable Florals – Arbour sprays, meadows, sign florals, plinth arrangements, and reception table centrepieces.
Styling Items – Arbours, pedestals & plinths, vases, candles, and other extras to tie everything together seamlessly.
The best part? You don’t have to worry about what happens after the wedding—I’ll collect it all for you. No need to find space to store it, or selling on marketplace (oh, what a shame!)
Step 4: Choose Your Customisation Level
Every couple is different, so you can decide how personalised you want your florals to be:
Signature Sets – Pre-designed collections ready to hire as they are, perfect for weddings with short lead times, or those wanting a ready made option without a customisation service.
Semi-Custom – A pre-designed base adjusted to match your colours, great for those that only want to tweak things a little!
Full Custom – A completely one-off creation designed entirely around your style, ensuring a perfect match to your vision!

Step 5: Receive a Comprehensive Quote & Secure your Booking
Once you have chosen your floral and styling items and we have discussed any venue specific details I will put together a quote for you! This quote is completely adjustable, so we can always make changes at any time.
Once you're happy and wish lock in your date, a 10% non-refundable deposit is required, which goes towards your final invoice! Once that’s paid, your florals are officially in my calendar.
From there, the payment schedule is simple:
50% progress payment – due 5 months before your wedding.
Final invoice – due 1 month prior to delivery.
This way, everything is squared away well before your wedding day, leaving you free to just enjoy the countdown.
Step 6: Consultation & Design Planning
Once you’ve got an idea of the florals you’d like, have secured your date and are happy with the expected investment, we’ll book in a phone or in person consultation if you'd like one! This is where we go through everything in detail—your colour palette, style inspiration, venue, and the flow of your day. We’ll also talk through practical details like restyling ceremony florals into the reception, and your venue’s bump-in/bump-out requirements.
From there, I’ll create a digital proposal document for you. This includes:
Mood board – designed from the photos you’ve shared, helping us lock in a colour palette that perfectly suits your style and vibe.
Stem planning – with actual images of the flowers I recommend for your theme.
Styling items – showing how hire pieces can complete the look.
Digital mock-ups – so you can visualise exactly how your arrangements will come together.
That way, you’ll see a clear, cohesive vision of your wedding florals before I even begin creating.
Step 7: Confirm Delivery & Setup Details
I take care of the logistics so you don’t have to. Once your designs are finalised, we’ll lock in delivery, setup, and pack-down. On the day, I handle everything—you just get to walk in and see your space transformed.
One thing to keep in mind is your venue’s bump-out rules. Some venues require same-day late-night pack-down (which may incur an additional fee), while others allow next-day collection (which is included in my service). I’ll guide you through this and confirm what your venue requires so there are no surprises.
Step 8: Creation Phase
This is where the magic happens! Once your design plan is approved and your deposit is paid, I get to work creating your personal keepsake florals and preparing any hire pieces. You’ll get sneak peeks along the way so you can feel confident that everything is coming together exactly as planned, and have opportunities to let me know if you'd like certain elements changed! I encourage my couples to have as much input as they like - this day is about YOU, and your flowers are too.
