Hi, I'm Denieka
Located in the beautiful Scenic Rim, I'm a bit of a country girl at heart, riding horses when I'm not flowering, and raising my beautiful little boy to love the outdoors as much as I do.
I'm a perfectionist, and a night-owl (it's currently 12:26am and I'm working on my website that I designed and created myself!) and think that a bowl of cereal is a great midnight snack when I'm up late working. Don't be surprised when you get emails from me in the early hours of the morning!
How it all Started
It all began with my own wedding in 2021. I was a shameless Type A bride - very detail oriented and wanted to have some say over my florals. I did not find a florist who I resonated with (or who would happily answer my many questions!) so I handcrafted my bouquets and boutonnieres myself, and quickly realised how special it was to keep a piece of our day forever. That little spark grew into a business built on love, detail, and the joy of helping other couples feel seen and heard! I have learnt a lot and perfected my craft, and my obsession for wedding florals has only grown.
What We Offer
Bloom Illusions specialises in custom artificial wedding florals — including both keepsake pieces (like bridal party flowers) and hireable ceremony and reception designs. Our hireables include arbours, table florals, plinth toppers, and more — perfect for adding a luxe, abundantly styled look without the full-service florist price tag.
Each piece is designed to reflect your personal style, using only premium silk and Real Touch flowers. Your florals will be thoughtfully designed to suit your vibe, with as much or little input from you as you like.
Our Approach
We’re all about communication, care, and making the process easy and enjoyable. For our hireables collection, I take on only one wedding per weekend so I can give you my full attention — no rush jobs or generic designs here. Whether you're working with me to create your keepsake florals or selecting a hireable setup, you'll receive plenty of updates, support, and creative collaboration - be prepared for lots of Type A energy!
